Abuela is a Barcelona-based studio formed by creative directors Kevin Sabariego & Marc Castellví.
Specializing in visual narratives, we help our clients write down their story, create a unique visual language and produce it by any means. We welcome projects with a flexible, versatile and open-minded approach.

We’ve been
For the past 8 years we have co-founded different firms and projects such as Outro Studio or No — de mamá, which gave us the opportunity to work with clients like Ajuntament de Barcelona, Nike, OFFF, Unicef or FCB among many others. Also to travel around the globe and participate as speakers in different design and audiovisual international festivals such as OFFF (BCN, Mexico, Cincinnatti), Fête pour l’image, Plug&Play, The Creative Fest, FIU or Blanc Festival and teaching university classes at ESDi, LCI Barcelona and La Salle (Universitat Ramon Llull).
